not sure if i'm just looking up the info needed wrong or what.

so on my truck, 42 ford with mazda frame...i am running bags at 4 corners. i have pieced the whole set which next go around ill just buy a kit. have dual viair compressors(200 series or another?), 5 gallon tank, multiple ports. all the sensors needed etc.

Im trying to figure out the solenoid issues. I purchased 4 solenoids. the idea being for controlling all bags seperately, is that all i need?
4-3/8 brass solenoids to control up and down motions? or am i needing a solenoid for each control.?

im just trying to get control per bag. have the compressors, tank, 4-bags, 4-solenoids, sensors and valves for compressor and tank features, etc. have a control panel that has 4 gauges and 4 toggle switches...can someone help shine some light on me?

thanks for any help, and i have searched at many sites of various genres, so dont jump my ass immediately, already know that response.

I'm not sure what you are calling a solenoid because you don't need a solenoid for each valve.

To have control of each bag you will need 2 valves per bag and a switch for each valve or one toggle switch per 2 valves.

im going to suggest you read more about air ride/suspension before you get to far into this project. sounds like you could use some more education on the subject.

these are what im talking about. they are calling them solenoids and valves, so thats what i going over. i have a 4 pack of these. will i need 8 to control each bag up and down individually?

i can get wiring down and most plumbing down, just need to get myself straight on the correct amount of valves. So i will need 2 valves per bag for seperate up and down motions.

Im not trying to sound like a dick or anything, or mislabel the parts, but im just after a bit of help in the right direction. I tried talking to a buddy who had a slammed s10, but i think his dad installed it all, leaving me second guessing everything.

if you want to control each corner separate you will need 8 valves. however if you only want a simple set-up and only want to control but fronts up and down, and then both rears up and down, you only need 4. im only suggesting bro there is tons of info on the web about air suspension, do yourself a huge helping favor and go do a few hrs worth of research. i promise you after you do. you wont need to ask simple questions such as this one about how many valves you need.

my bad...i think my buddy and i were on wrong pages. from what i was asking and what he was trying to answer...ill just go with a front and rear only, that way i dont need to purchase more valves. ill try researching with new wording and see what happens, thanks tho.

Feel free to ask questions

If you want just front and back you only need 4 valves. Also check out some of our vendors on the site, I know they sell valves. If they don't have them listed on their site I'm sure they could give you a better deal.

yea...but im wondering if i would be just ok with front and rear only type movement. Im thinking i will go to an 8 valve set up so i can control each bag personally instead of just front and rear with check valves and such. with the 8 means i can wire them to whatever combo i'd like.

What if i went to 6 valves? run a fill valve for each bag so that way i get the stability control i want, but then have a designated dump valve per axle? i saw an example on here earlier. i am thinking that may be easier, since i'd only have to be worried about plumbing for 6 rather than 8.

Actually you would have to run more plumbing for 6 valves than for 8. I'd say go 8 and be done with it
