1986 B2000 Timing Belt Replacement Schedule

You'd be surprised. There's a great satisfaction in completing such a project. That's what I felt after my first timing belt/water pump job, my AC compressor and evaporator replacement jobs, my recent engine rebuild: all successful.

As Lee Van Cleef stated in the spaghetti western "Day of Anger", "there are some challenges a man's got to take, or life isn't worth living".

I will definitely consider it.

Before getting this truck i'd never worked on a vehicle on my own.

but thanks to the old Mazdatruckin forum and the internet in general i did quite a few maintenance things on my own from small things like spark plugs to fuel filters to larger things like ignition coil and disassembling the ignition assembly.

timing belt seems way more involved, but i'll research it a little.
