I have a 1989 Convertible RX7 non turbo trans that I was to swap the tailshaft and bellhousing and put in my 93 B2200. I took the tailshafts off of both tranny's, and the RX7 one has this huge weight thing on the output shaft just in front of the speedometer gear, has a large nut holding it on, and a seal on the bottom? I cannot get the nut loose as there is no real way to stop the shaft from turning (was using oil filter strap on the large piece), and the B2200 piece does not fit over this. Anybody know how to remove it, and what it does?
