ebay 7x6 headlight question?

anyone bought a set of the replacement headlights off ebay that are the standard 7x6 but have a replaceable bulb in em? or the ones that have the hid bulbs?

im sure tehy cant e the best of best but damn, i have to do something about these shitty ass oem, dull as hell lights. i cant see shit at night. hahah

Yes I have some in my truck. They were $22.99 shipped and came with the bulbs. They have a glass front and only problem I ran into was the trim ring around the headlight that holds them in was a little tight.

Are they bright? Compaired to stock?

I like the look of the black housing projector ones.... but I need them to accually produce light. Ha

I got the "Diamond" styled ones in mine. Have had them for years. No problems and like being able to replace the bulb w/o taking the whole fixture out.

Everyone that has run the black headlights, projector, HID or otherwise, has complained about not enough light coming from them.

I had the standard version of those, the chrome housed ones, and count stand the light out put of the wannabe projector lens. Get a set of the top end sylvania silver star or a set of the chrome housed non projector lens and throw in some hids. You'll be way better off.
