Factory Cruise Control

Just got a tilt column from the pick and pull and it came with the cruise control switch. What else is needed to make this work. I think I have a good idea that there is an on/off switch possibly on the dash. Also a control modual/computer and and an acctuator. Any info especily location and photos of components would be a great help. Thanks

There is a cruise control unit (circut board) located behind the left side kick panel that you will need, you will also need to get the gas pedal arm, the actuator, there is a different brake light switch that you will have to grab (the clutch switch gets reused) the main switch and finally depending on the year you may have to get a new instrument cluster. I was able to run and solder the wire to mine. The speed sensor is in the gauge cluster. There is an entire wiring harness for the cruise control setup, that goes from the actuator to the cruise control box, to the main switch and both the clutch and brake switches and finally the switch on the combo switch. By the way if you get it all hooked up and it doesn't work there is a test light (I used a simple 12 volt bulb) that can be hooked up to the control and it will flash a code to let you know what is wrong with it.

Oh, also you will want to grab the vacuum line that runs from the intake manifold to the actuator. I have done this conversion an couple of times and is not difficult, but just a little time consuming. Let me know if you have any issues.

Hi guys. I just got through installing a NOS Cruise system in my 91 B2600i. My instructions were missing a few details. There is a single black wire with yellow stripe that comes out of the cruise harness. The instructions said that it plugs somewhere into the bottom of the relay box but I can't figure exactly where. If anyone could pinpoint the location for this wire, I would be greatful. Thanks.
