Been poking around on the internet and can't find any straight forward answers.
couple questions:

My Weber:
Fill the float w/ foam??? I read that some place...?
Or can/how do I build the Carb to accept boost?

(I'm thinking something small and like 6psi boost is all)

Elec fuel pump and regulator I assume?

Timing? These are vacuum advanced and yeah boost is the opposite of that...so how would I do that??

So you want to boost with a turbo?
I'd say bin the idea, but I'm a sad old man.
If you want to boost with a supercharger then run a draw through supercharger and all will be well
Well as long as you have a carb which matches the cfm of the blower

It's been done so it's possible.
If I were to try such a venture, I'd buy a blow through carb

I think the main idea is having a float (among other things) which can stand up to the pressures that you're putting it through.
Basically if you have additional pressure (boost) then you need additional fuel pressure.
A rising rate 1:1 fuel pressure regulator into your reinforced float would be something to consider.
Problem is you'll still end up with blowbys and all sorts of drama.
I wonder if you could enclose the whole carb and feed boost into the entire enclosure, that'd keep a lower pressure in the carb and higher outside, just like normal.

Buy a blow through carb...... lol
Do you have the turbo etc etc, what's the rest of the plans?

I'm really just toying with the idea... I seen a 22ret in a 4 runner... no intercooler or anything. Low boost and it runs great. I've got a he351 (2003 5.9lcummins factory Turbo) I'm trying to trade for a smaller Turbo...

The 22rte is still FI, but most 22r motors are turbo/pane. In the middle of a turbo/pane 22r on my gf's yota

*edit* most turbo 22r's are on propane, I should say...
