I have a 92 b2200. My speedometer cable is broken. I hear I have to drop the whole dash to replace it. I already have the replacement cable, I'm just dreading dropping that dash. Anyone know if it I do have to drop the dash it if I can fish it thru somehow?

Just pull the gauge cluster out.
You don't have to pull the whole dash.

Really? I thought there might be a bracket behind the dash

There is, but it's still workable.

Yup, done it before, you just have to remove the instrument cluster. Push the cable into the cab through the firewall as far as it will go (to give the cable some slack), then pull the instrument cluster out as far as you can, then there's just enough room to get your hand behind the instrument cluster and pinch the clips on each side of the speedo cable connection to release it from the back of the instrument panel. It's pretty easy from there.
