The Cuss is having a helluva time trying to figure out a part number for a 1988 B2200 black front bumper center section. Jim Ellis site shows a bumper for a 1988 4x4, is that different? They don't list a center front bumper for a 2WD.

When I search other sites it asks about "with molding" or "without molding", and I don't even see a difference in their photos or even know what this molding is.

For example, see (no molding)

with molding hole

So please help figure out this seemingly simple molding issue, help me understand what they're talking about !!! Thanks.

Its a 3 PC mouldings common on 2600 goes across top off bumper just below grille! extend into plastic bumper ends! as far as I know 2 n 4 wd center section is same ends Arter different

The 3 piece trim is not limited to the 2600 alone. Its part of the lx chrome package. Example: my 91 2600i lx had chrome door and tail gate handles, chrome fender trim, chrome window trims, chrome rear bumper, but I'm not sure if the front bumper it had was the original or not, but when I got it, it did not have the chrome trim. Cortnye's 87 b2000 lx has all chrome handles, had the chrome fender trim, chrome rear bumper, and the front bumper chrome trim.

OK, think I've got this narrowed down. I need the one without molding, don't have that, mine's an SE-5. That makes it part number MA1002113 as far as I can tell. Rock wants a ton for shipping, I can find same MA1002113 for $58 shipped from Ebay, and same retailer has the "bumper cover" -what Nissan calls the lower grille/valance -part NI1000194 for $65 shipped.

If you don't have the chrome, you'll definitely want one without the holes. I just installed a new center section on my truck that I've had lying around for a couple of years. Here is a couple of pictures. You can see the chrome still attached to the end caps, and the center chrome removed and lying upside down in front of the bumper. You can see that a couple of my fasteners were "Quick-Release" type.
