tick or knock cant tell

ok guys its me again i just finished doing fixing some of the rest of the stuff i had probs with and soon as i was getting ready to drive i hear a sound.
i sound like its between the engine and the heads its like a taping sound so any way here are a few questions
1# i have a 1986 mazda b2000 se-5 and which to know is is mechanical or hydros

2# what ever anwser you give me how i fix it?

3# also my engine shakes when its on its this good or bad and how i fix if can

1) All B2000's came from the factory with mechanical rockers.
2) If it's valve noise you're hearing, an adjustment should clear it up.
3) All engines move when running. If it's excessive, you may need a motor mount or two, the idle RPM may be too low, or you could possibly have a misfire.
