good morning ... I have been driving a 84 mazda b2000... decide to do the weber 32/36 weber carb upgrade ...

My issues /or questions at this point are ..

1. my carb is on the drivers side of the motor... truck says b2000. does the carb being on the drivers side tell what model motor i have ?

2. mounting plate supplied with k675 kits doesnt fit intake way too large ? Am i the only one dealing with this ?

3 does anyone know what i have to remove as far as vacuum hoses?? it says plug 3 altitude hoses ?? remove dashpot .. anyone have pictures of which hoses to plug and remove ..

4. i can only find vacuume diagram for b2200 which is diffrent

5 where do you plug the 2 larger hoses that went into the airfilter housing ... not the one that comes from the valve cover but from the metal pipe and the other hose pluged into the bottom of the aircleaner housing.. ?

please help me ..

the first thing id do is make sure that carb will work. and if u can get the right adapter. it sounds like u have the older model and i dont know much about them. but as for the hoses, do they come from the lower exhaust? if so id just cap them. i have 3 on my truck that i caped off with 40oz bud ice lids. and as for the hose on the bottom of the air cleaner, uhhmmmm, not to sure but i would think it could be capped off. theres only two or three vacume hoses that u should be left with after a weber install. i know one of those is vacume advance. im sure someone on here knows those models better and can tell u more than i can. but figured id try n help a little if i could. hope u getter figured out.

Did your truck have the Hitachi carburetor? I think you might need the K674 kit, not the K675 kit.

This page shows the K674 kit for B2000 trucks made up until Nov. 1984, those are different engines than the later B2000. And with the carb being on the driver side on yours, the throttle adapter on the K675 kit won't work on yours.

I'd exchange for a K674 kit.

thanks for responding .. original carb was a nikii ( not sure how its spelled) . i looks at that one ...and that mounting plate is too wide ..i got the adaptor plate ordered today 94000.333 both plate are almost same size as original mounting area ... aslo going to run a lockar cable due to the fact original ran off bar style throttle . im not sure what to remove .. or am i capping everything off
