" target="_blank This stuff works stupid awesome.I have some body metal clips soaking right now and literally the rust is gone.I bought a gallon size from autozone and plan on using for various other projects. It cost right at 20.00 or so for what I got,or close to it.Aside from that I would suggest a cordless drill and some fine brush attachments to strip it down to metal quicker.I buy the fine brush 1/4 inch shank from lowes (gold colored) and will shine that serious clean. That is my recommend and water cleans it off the evapo rust.Very safe to use and great on aluminum too.

im gonna have to try that out for sure man. so you just get a tub and just let the parts soak in it? i planned on using a drill on the engine block with a wire cone like you said and just painting it with some engine enamel. thanks for the tip

Yes I just used the cordless with a brush on the block, but the smaller parts use a good pan metal and let the pieces soak for a period of time.I have used a metal oil drain pan for bigger parts to remove the scaley stuff.I just soaked some metal clips for two days rust is gone, but hitting with cordless to finish, then prime/paint.I used duplicolor engine primer and engine paint on mine and works fine.
