If you have a float in your master reservoir it may be stuck in the low position. The float has a small magnet on it, when it is close to the sensor in the bottom of the reservoir (the sensor connection comes from the driver side fender well near the firewall).

I'm siding with Dan on this one, that's the one involved with what you did here.

The brake light is actuated by that floating magnet/sensor being too low, the handbrake being left on, or the "normally open" switch down on the pedal assembly.

So if the fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir is at correct level (and the sensor in place), and you engage/disengage the handbrake lever several times, about the only thing left would be to check out the brake pedal switch.

Oh yea as Cusser mentioned, check your brake light switch, there is a rubber stopper that can wear and cause the switch to go out of adjustment. Or the switch has come loose or is even bad.

and when I pull off it goes off then everytime I hit my clutch to change gears it pops on but goes off after I let off the clutch...maybe just a loose wire?

the switch on master cilinder isn't hooked up at all so I know it isn't that and if u watch the light it gets brighter when u barley pull the parkin brake the it dims out but stays on

It sounds like you have a short where the parking brake handle activates a light switch. Unfortunately I do not know where that is, but it sounds like that is your problem.
