edc question

So I converted my first a/c compressor to grease, I have 6 to 8 ounces of good high temp grease in it. It works great but seems rather loud, any thoughts?

When I did mine I used half the tube of grease. Not sure how much that was but it was full

I bought a round tub of it, pretty common size other than a tube at any auto parts store. I used roughly half, was yours loud at all?

The stuff I got is 14 oz in the tube so I used about 7-8 oz. I've done 2 of these and the one I have in my truck seems noisy. The one I just did for a friend seems alot quieter.
