I thought any steering wheel from these B's (85ish - 93ish) would work. Picked up one from the junkyard for my 87 B2200, and it won't go on far enough to reach the horn thing and the plastic ring that auto-flips the turn signal off. What years and models can I get a steering wheel from for my 87 B2200? (I thought I got my wheel from an 86, but it might've a 90.)

I just took a 3-spoke off of the '90 I parted out and put it onto my '87 with no issue....

I'm unaware of any steering wheel spline or size difference in the steering shafts.

The splines were the same. It just got really snug quickly and it wouldn't go on back enough. It was about 1/2 to 3/4 inch from being on correctly. On my 87 B2000 the steering wheel when I've removed it goes on easily.

The B2200 had an aftermarket on, but it doesn't look like he modified the column in any way.

My '87 B2000 is a two spoke that angles downward, with plastic horn button holders. The one I bought is a two spoke but the connectors are straight, not angled (parallel to the ground), and the whole thing is fake leather/vinyl.

So I put the man handling down on the steering wheel, and it tightened down a lot. ALMOST, but not enough. I still need it to go back another 3/8" just to touch the horn connector that stick out. Any ideas? I'll try bracing it and see what happens.

Is the part on the front (front of truck) side of the steering wheel different? I believe those readily unscrew, and maybe you could try a swap???

The rx7 steering wheels have the same spline as the b trucks. Im sure there are other mazda wheels that will fit

There's nothing to unscrew from what I can tell. It's just a solid metal "disc" inside. I might take the wheel off the B2000 tonight for comparison. Do you have any pics of what you are referring to with "unscrewing the front side"?

Sorry - that might only be on the metal 3-spoke SWs.

You guys thinking if i take a 2x4 across the steering wheel in line with the spokes and mallet it, it might go in a little further? I'll probably be back at it this weekend when my parts arrive.
