Hello! Id like to start by saying thanks for all of the information I have pulled from the forum over the past few years of owning my truck! Now Im kinda stumped. I have a 5spd 87 b2200. I am experiancing a very odd noise. It is a very DEEP RUMBLE that directly relates to the speed, it appears at anything over 30 - 35 mph and gets much worse when i let it coast. whether it is coasting in gear or in neutral. I am pretty handy myself so iv been eliminating possible causes. I have rebuilt the differential with all new bearings. and rear wheel bearings. i have rebuilt the driveshaft with all new joints and carrier bearing. it has a relatively new zoon? clutch that has always been great. motor ticks over fine as well. My only guess now is that somehow the driveshaft got indexed wrong and is out of balance, or a bearing has gone bad in the tailshaft of the transmission. I only say that because the noise is so much worse when the driveline is unloaded. PLEASE i am at my witts end with my truck and some experienced advice would be awesome! also it has brand new tires all around that have been properly ballanced
Thank You
