This was under the air filter box, behind the left hand side headlight on my 1993 B2200 fuel injected. Looks ceramic, has 2 wires, one wire has an inline fuse. There is also a 4 pin relay on the same bracket.

Just wondering, are there any numbers on your ignition coil? Its common up here to use a 6v coil and a ballast resistor to reduce voltage to coil to 6v. When starting they bypass the resistor to send 12v to coil for a bigger spark. Helps cold starts when its way below freezing.y

This is the only pic I have on my computer that shows the coil. IDK if it helps but you can see it on the driver side by my PA speaker.

Are you in Canada? Didn't Canadian models come with day time running lamps?

Whaaaa! I would love some factory daytime running lamps. Great info Sin! I hope this is true, I didn't know this before. I might have to get a factory DTRL unit from someone in Canada.

I am in canada, i do have daytime running lights. They are usually high beam running on 6volts, that could be it. Will have to check wiring with a multimeter, that would explain the 10a fuse in the wiring too.
