89 b2600 4x4. the windows (driver, passenger) are easy to roll down but after the half way point they almost want to stop rolling down, then when you try to roll them up its really hard and the handle feels like its gonna break and the window feels like its gonna get stuck. is the window coming off the tracks? are the gears just rusty?

I'd take off the door panel and clean and lube all the gears and stuff you can. You can use silicone aerosol lubricant on the channels themselves.

i tried that and when i got the panel off there was a plastic sheet over all the components held on by some sort of glue should i take that off?

Peel it back to gain access to the regulator and gears, lube everything up and then press it back into place.
