I have noticed that the brake booster from 198 to 1990 apparently changed(listed different, different prices)
if you look up a 89 b2200 the booster has the 90degree vacuum nipple instead of straight one like on the 1990)
Visually that is only thing I can see different, but of course none of my local pull a part yards have any of these trucks that I could pull one off of to compare or even test, and no local parts house has either in stock, being told I would have to pay for booster, when it comes in I could see if its gunna work, if not, they will refund my money(as long as I don't install it)
I don't have that kind of money

Can someone tell me what the difference is?
Want/need to know if I can use a 1989 booster

Well, did some research and the booster diaphragms from 86-89 automatics are same as 90-93 boosters.
86-89 manual trans diaphragms are smaller

From 86-93 they all use same master cylinders(manual trans and auto)
The back mount bolts(inside of firewall on pedal side) on the manual are obviously spread out farther, in a "rectangular" shape, so it won't bolt right in
The 86-89 auto "appears" very close, I got O'Reilly auto parts to order me one, going to see if it bolts in when i get home, will update

90-93 brake booster(no auto or manual difference)

incase anyone was curious, this is the 86-89 manual option

so far only difference is the vacuum port is bent on one, and the price is alot better on the 86-89

firewall mounting surface bolts and pedal pushrod are the same

gunna try to mount it this afternoon when i get off work

Well, got it bolted in and hooked up, fit like a glove
Works perfectly fine so far, only thing I have found so far that is different is the vacuum line with the valve in it(difference is the way it comes premised)

Literally seems only thing different is the vacuum port is at a 90 instead of straight out
