horn addition

My 2200 horn is pretty weak sounding so I want to add another horn.Two questions: Do I need a second horn relay, and 2. anyone got an suggestion for a new horn OR does anyone have a working stock horn for sale?I am looking for a little more volume so dont need anything real loud.Thanks much.BJ

Hi, yep the horn is nothing impressive, but you might try adjusting it. The horn hides behind the front bumper on the passenger side. There is a lock nut and set screw to adjust the vibration/sound. Might be worth a try (and free!) if all you want is just enough of a horn to get attention. But if you you want lots of sound, or tunes, or ??? - then the mazda horn isn't going to cut it.

OE relay is fine, if you use only one horn.

For $6 get a set of horns from a late 90s Ford Ranger (hi-lo Fiamm) - price at the bone yard. Just take a couple pieces of wire and a 18 volt battery to test them on site. I have four of these on my rig now. I did use a new relay...
