bout damn time...wheels...who-hoo

Yes indeedy, finally got my wheels installed. They are Amp Tech 9's, 17" x 7" in size ( i really wanted 18's, but I love these wheels), tire size 215/45ZR17 up front, and 235/45ZR17 for the rear. Pickies...:










I had to machine the front wheels to fit over the very end of the brake rotor...took maybe 30-45 mins with some 60 grit sand paper...and they fit like a glove. I think I may still ahve to grind a little material off the lower control arm for clearance...I still want to get 1 1/4" spacers for the rear, but at least they are on and fit.


And just for shits and giggles...the old wheels and tires on the '66:

Truck looks pretty good with those rims. I like the old rims on the project car though.
