Hey guys.
Have a burst line in my clutch (1991 B2200, petrol). It is the rubber line that connects directly to the slave cylinder. Well, I'm trying to disconnect it at the top end from the metal line....and I just can't. I've got two wrenches on either end and it isn't budging. I had to stop before I rounded off the nut any more.
Is there any trick to this?

Cheers!

Use flare wrenches so the nut doesn't round. Remove the metal line too if you need to. Try genuine Vise-grips, extensions for more leverage, etc.

I replaced that line on mine, didn't have any issues, sorry for your trouble.

There should be a metal clip that holds the compression fitting/hose joint onto the frame. Mine was TOTALLY gummed up and covered with dirt, took a bit to discover it. I would break free the fitting before i undid that clip though.

Vice-Grips are definitely the way to go when flare wrenches are not available. Also some WD-40 or penetrating oil works wonders on old rusty truck parts.

Vise-grips (genuine, not knock offs) should be last resort. Even Harbor Freight has metric flare wrenches, so do O'Reilly and Autozone.
