So, i have a 89 mazda b2000, i have never lowered anything and have no idea how. i want is to sit about 6-7 inches of the ground, i don't wanna put it on bags or have to cut into my bed. How do i do that? how do i put it on "blocks" I would really appreciate it if someone replies to this. a link to a video would be great but anything helps i guess thanks a million,

Not trying to sound like an a$$hole, but if you don't know how to install blocks, you should really call someone over to show you how. Seriously, we all started somewhere, let someone show you the ropes. Suspension can kill if you don't know what you're doing.

Park the truck on a flat surface and raise the rear up with a jack. Place a jack stand under each side of the rear of the truck under the frame and lower the truck down onto the stands. Remove the wheels/tires from the rear of the truck.

2
Place a jack under each side of the truck and raise the rear axle. This puts the weight of the axle on the jacks and off of the leaf springs so that you can loosen them.

3
Locate the U-bolts that are bolted onto the leaf springs on the truck. They are large U-shaped bolts and are installed with nuts on the end of them. Use a ratchet and socket to remove them from the leaf springs.

4
Place the new lowering blocks in the center of the leaf springs. There is a small hole in the center of the blocks and it should be placed directly over the nut in the center of the leaf springs.

5
Install the new, longer U-bolts in place of the old ones and tighten them with the nuts. Make sure the lowering blocks and U-bolts are straight and in line with the leaf springs.

DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They were written for a "spring-over" arrangement and not a "spring-under" setup. Please, man, call a buddy over to help you. If you don't have one, just ask the next person you see driving a lowered vehicle. If they're not able to help they should be able to refer you to someone.

drop/lift blocks come with instructions in the box there really easy to install just make sure the truck is well secured off the ground before starting. it consist of 8 nuts and lock washers 4 on each side and placing the block between the leaf spring and axle... the front you can reindex the torsion bars and give yourself a good bit of drop and there is a how to article on this website

Use the search feature. There are tons of threads on this, even pictures of step by step. It's quite easy to do.
