Has anyone done this for a static drop? I cant seem to find a drop shock with enough travel to handle my 3" drop control arms. Just wondering if anyone has a write up on it or has done it

Isuzu pu shock early 90s I think is a little shorter.

I thought about doing this to mine, but I dont have a lot of clearance between the tires and inner fenders... I'm waiting to do this until I tub the inner fenders and have more room...

By tub the inner fenders, do you jus cut out the plastic fender well lining or do you actually have to cut the fender well open for tire clearance?

Like removing the factory inner fender and welding trailer fenders in, but higher up than the factory inner fender for more clearance... I got rid of the plastic fender shielding a long time ago... This is what I'm talking about

Try the 74' dodge charger shock. they are 7.4" tall collapsed may help you some.
