I have an 88 cab plus Mazda..I wanna how what all i have to cut off the lower control arm to install air bags. And what size bag would fit good thanks....

Have to trim a lot of the back part to clear the frame. Here is a picture of mine to compare to your stockers.

You will need to trim your arms like Kovz, more or less depending on the wheel and tire size your running. You will see how far you need to go when trying to "tuck" the suspension... it's pretty clear to tell then. As far as the bag is concerned, stay with 6" bags unless you want to get into alot more work to make anything bigger fit.

Im not sure what size wheels Kovz is running off hand but for 20's you will have to cut atleast the same amount he did or more. When we did my friends b2200 on 18's we trimmed his arms just like them^^

If you can plate the underside for strength then it's probably not a bad idea for the extra safety precaution.

Yes mine were cut to lay crossmember on 215/40/18's.

Looks like shock mounts and steering stops to keep the wheels from turning too far, those are stock.

Yes, they are shock mounts.

I forget what the pieces on the outside are for, but they are stock.

Do any of u guys have pics of how to cut the old asorber mount to get air bag bracket to fit on frame....
