well 86to 90 rx-7 is the same as a 91 miata so sounds like it should work

What does it take to change the shifter? Just wondering...

I had a 88 shifter from an RX-7 and the do not work. The "B" tranny has a puck looking hole and the RX-7 is a ball style hole

could you make it work weld/grind it?
