I have an 88 B2600 I want to put a suspension lift on my truck. Correct me if I'm wrong but an 88 is a 5th generation truck so minus the motor an 88 should have the same suspension as a 93 B2600, Yes? with that being said I found a suspension lift kit for a 93 B2600, please comment on this thread to help me figure this out. I know when I search for shocks they come with 87-93. I'm going to be going from a 255/70R15 to a 31X10.5R15LT I'm thinking the general tire grabber AT2, I read good reviews on it and I can get them for right under $700.00 for the tires. If that lift kit will work I'll probably do the lift with a set of 3 inch blocks on the rear axle and go with either some 33's or 35's. Another question I have is the rx7 and the b2600 share the same axle they just have different gearing and the rx7 has a LSD, my question is can I just buy a carrier for the LSD from the rx7 and put my 4.44 gears to make my axle a 4.44 LSD? if I put 33's or 35's I'm going to need my lower gearing to get those tires to roll. My third question is I have the five speed manual transmission, does any body have the transmission code for it? I've found some online for the ranger but nothing concrete for the B2600. My reasoning behind the question is Advanced adapters makes a ford 302 adapter for the toyo kogyo tansmission which I know have, but I want to be sure it will work. I'm dead set on putting a v8 in this thing. I'm a mechanic so I know I have the wrench bending skills to do it. I just need a little reassurance before I start buying all my parts. I got the cash for it just not the info. fourth question if anyone is aware of a thread that lays out a yota SAS swap that would be great. look forward to your replies.

if you want to retain your stock 4x4 you can only max out your stock front torsion bar setup... anything beyond that, and your front cv axles are at no angle in which they would like to turn
