I've got a somewhat lightweight pop up camper on my diesel b2200. It made my stock springs go flat. When I took the flat springs off, they perked up a little, noticably flatter but not terrible. So I added them to the 2 leaf sets I got from pick n pull, and boy it makes a beefy spring. But I'm wondering if it will do any good, or maybe if it would make it too stiff, or if because they're already flat it would make it worse. Have any of you ever stacked leaf springs on your B? What do you guys think? Tomorrow I'm putting it all together so please reply!

I decided to add just two of the old leaf springs in. Now I can't get the fucking spring plate to get under the new bigger springs. Stack some B springs they said, it will be fun they said

Whoa! That's a lot of camper for a small truck! I can definitely see why the original springs flattened out some. Were your stock U bolts long enough to reuse? I've never stacked extra leafs in my trucks, but I've thought about doing it on the work truck since I pull a trailer a lot.

Post some pics of it after you install the extra's........I'd like to see how much it has helped in the rear height.

<img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) --> Hehe that makes me smile. Yeah I got this truck cause it's got a longbed and the little diesel engine gets amazing gas mileage. Had a few problems recently like the door locks not opening, windshield wiper gear slipping, hood was touching teh battery and it took forever to figure out and it welded the parking brake cable stuck; but I'm gonna fix it up, lift it, paint it black and soup up the camper and I think I'll have a badass rig.

Anyway no, I got new ubolts at autozone for $25. I've got a &quot;bastard spring pack&quot; made, but it's been raining and I was stuck when I couldn't get it to line up and the springs were way too low cause of the curve and the bushings and spring eyes on my truck are smaller, must be cause it's the diesel variant. got some rubber washer hose, and a bigger vinyl hose that it fits in, from home depot to widen the bushing. Realized I just gotta unbolt the shock absorbers and remove the other tire, then drop the axle down, ubolt it, jack it up, put on tires then release the jacks and install longer shocks.
