I'm curious...and poor. I was wondering if anyone has done a remote mount turbo at all? It would be for my EFI B2200. I was thinking it would be cheaper to fab and would be mostly hidden. I could run about 4-6 pounds of boost on a stockish 2.2 and get a little more pep out of it (I am also not lowered so clearance wont be an issue) and since I live in California it would be easier to switch back to stock for stupid Cali smog tests.

I want a little more power but still need to pass smog every 2 years. I think this would be a decent mod for my application.

Thoughts? Pros-Cons. Lets brainstorm!

This guy is selling his turbo kit on the Facebook page "Mazda b series Parts Exchange" its not remote mount but I figured I would put it up here... should have done it in the for sale section. Apologies.

"I'm sellin my turbo kit. This is a eBay universal I made work for the b2200/b2000, carbed engines. Pushed about 4 1/2 lbs of boost. Still needed tunning, just never got around to it. Custom built exhaust manifold... Custom designed boost gauge. $400 or $500 with boost gauge... Odessa tx 79765"

The kit installed.
