I have a 1988 Mazda B2200 and it came purchased WITHOUT Air conditioning. It was a DX model.

After all these years I was thinking about getting it added.
How much would this cost, how much trouble?

A little FYI, I have all the gazillion vaccum lines and crap under the hood gone and its really simple now with just a weber carb.

Find a Mazda at pick n pull grab everything except for drier (they are like $15). It's a lot of work though

Unless you have an entire truck to pull from (and all those parts would be old), I'd go with a complete kit, like these

That company is here in Phoenix, and I've dealt with them before, they have a kit for B2200 without power steering and one for a power steering equipped truck. Just over $900.

I'd go with a new kit as Cusser said but only if you plan to keep the truck.... or you could use the standard air conditioning system already in the truck. It was option 2-70. Roll down both windows (2) and go 70 mph (70).
