how hard is it to c-notch? and about how long would it take ?

depends on your skills, if your have basic welding and fitting skills its pretty easy, the fuel tank cross member has to be cut so that has to be reinforced and re running of wires and other things , id say it would take a good chunk of a day to get it done nicely.

I'd agree with a days work. If you have help pulling the bed and are good with a tape measure and a welder it's not bad at all.

Just don't cut out the original part of the frame until you finish weld the notch first.
