hey i have a quick question i want to bag my b22 but i dont know what size bags ill need. coud you pm me or could i pm you and ask you a few questions

Sorry for butting in but 6" bags are fine but 7" bags are better. You may need tubular upperontrol arms in order to clear the brackets for 7s though, as well as cutting a pocket into the frame then reinforcing it.
And remember to ALWAYS setup your bag brackets when your drunk hahahaha

Not butting in at all.

Ya i had no problems with a 6" bag until i bodyropped to the doors and went 5 lug. And i ran stock arms on 18's and got plenty of lift when i was bodied to the rockers.

And yes, alcohol helps in all aspects of truck building

Where did you buy the kit to mount the bags On the control arms?

My control arms were built with a flat area to drill a hole wherever i wanted the bag to sit. But u can get them for torsion bar trucks a lot of different places!

So today i put rear shocks on the new mazda and unfortunately i cut a fucking brake line so its parked until i get back from north dakota.

So after i threw a little baby fit and calmed down i started working on the custom mods to my bed for the doored mazda.

I dont know if any of you remember what i was doing so ill fill everyone in again.

So i took a rear bumper off of a 1997 toyota 4runner and am going to be using that instead of a factory mazda bumper so that its tucked in and flush.

This required a bit of custom fabrication. Imagine that right? Lol

So i had to cut off the sheetmetal at the bodyline on the bed and the whole rear section of the bed.

Then mock up of the bumper showed i needed to stretch each side something like 7". So i sectioned 2 pieces to make one.

I did that on each side.

Then to fill the gap between the mazda tailgate and the 4runner bumper i cut the bottom section off of the liftgate and welded it to the mazda gate.

Now i just have to decide if i want to hard mount the bumper or have it removable...

But im happy with the progress for today

That sucks about the brake line, did you ditch those on the doored truck when you did IRS? You don't have a spare lying around?

Rear bumper is looking good. Looking forward to see the end result. Having it hard mounted with a filled in seam would look awesome, but if it ever got damaged it would have to be cut off.
