My buddy had the exhaust on his 32 ford done by this powder coating place in fresno Ca. They did what they called chrome coat it looks like chrome but it's powder coated. Turned out nice and was less than getting chromed.

I have researched that and this is literally the first time i have heard anybody say it looked good or they were happy with the outcome lol.

Oh wow! well I just looked up the shop he went to and I was wrong. It's not powercoat, it's a process called CermaKrome. Place is called Caps brute hot coating. Sorry for misleading. I thought it was powercoat because of the shop name.

No worries. I started looking again after your post and there are a few places that do a chrome coating that looks pretty good and is cheaper. Decisions. Decisions.
