Adding logos to pictures?

Is there any easy way to add logos or signatures to photos? Or is it just a matter of cutting and pasting a transparent backgrounded logo on it? Like how can it be done automatically?

I'm not sure how to do it automatically, but it shoudln't be too hard to do. Make a GIF with the signature, logo, whatever. GIFs allow transparency, JPEGs don't. Open up what ever pic you want to add the signature too, then copy and paste the GIF onto the pic, position it, presto-bamo-changeo!

It can be done automatically with use of a script but it takes to much power away from the server to be worth having it, I had it on my mazda site for about an hr and decided to take it off lol

Well, I want to have it on my pictures that I upload. But I guess I should just do it the easy way, or I'll risk all my pictures getting logos/signatures!

do you want to put a RS logo on them? I can send it to you if you want

Actually, all I want to add is a little strip at the bottom with my first initial and last name and a date. I already have it designed, just have to go and make it.
