Here's the progress on my R/C ranger:

This is where it starts from:

Here's where the body is right now:

It's shaved and painted white. It's going to have remote control adjustable suspension. You can see the donor parts in the back. I am still working on the chassis - designing it, hopefully I'll be able to get it designed by Monday and start building it this coming week; then start dragging it!

frickin SWEEET!! are you using the adjustable suspension system from one of those Jesse James RC cars? also, did you make the roll pan on it?

Yeah, I'm going to use that as a base. Unfortunately the WCC frame is too wide and too long (by about a 1/4" on each). I'm going to just take the drive components (motors and adjustable suspension motor) and fab everything else (or print it on a 3D printer at work for the parts I cannot actually make).

Unfortunately, I need to either find some new wheels for it or print myself some new ones on my company's 3D printer - which might be difficult because I'll have to find tires for it. The wheels I was going to use are 22's and look like 22's look like on Rangers - way too big and I cannot lay frame with them (or even get close). Anyone have any suggestions where I can find a 1:6 scale 18" wheel that isn't really wide?

that looks so bad ass, whenever i have some time i may have to toy around with one myself

You could try 1/10 touring car wheels, or 1/8 scale but there is not a great selection in 1/8 scale.
