few steps forward & one back

got some more body work done on the truck getting ready to put it back together so i can take it to another guys shop

heres the compressor tank and battery

skin welded on taillights shaved and new taillights

theyre just chillin in there right now - not mounted yet

and here is my step backwards
got the truck mobile - air all wired and plumbed gas tank thrown back in and hooked up so i figured i would take it out for a little drive around the neighborhood. well i got half way around and then i had to get the gmc to pull me back because of this

crossmember under the cab rubs the drive shaft (needs to be notched) and the shaft finally had enough and broke
moving forward and it feels like someone just kicked me in the gonads

im likin the placement of the caddy tails very different. cant wait to see em fully mounted. sorry bouy the step back shouldnt be too bad of a repair. like the battery and compressors and and tank looks good

my whole view on doing this is to try and do something different
hopefully ill be able to pull it off this summer when i sheetmetal the bed

i hate driveshaft rubbage man. i can appreciate the pain, mine's turning blue! literally.
