new grille

so i got back from sea and my wife surprised me by getting my grille installed while i was gone. ive had it sitting around since january. finally get to see it where it belongs.

looks good, but is there a piece that goes under the height to cover that gap? i seen a ranger with a bigger gap the other day and was like is he missing something
