Josh, when are u going to come over and fix my A/c to run my tanks?

I believe cruznlife1 said he's working on a way to mount one and keep your a/c. I know I have plenty of room on the pass side.

Hmmmm....a custom crank pully could be added, use longer bolts to hold it and the stocker in place, and run a single belt over to the air compressor, would allow you to remote mount the compressor as well. Run an electric fan if you need the clearance, a push fan if needed.

I say weld it onto your differential then connect them with a chain. Gotta admit it'd be different. Sucked if your tank emptied while you're stopped though. lol

Do it off the driveshaft, then it'd never stop turning and you'd never have to worry.

first post so i have to say first off. my truck is a 2k bagged ranger on 20's. no ac as of yet. mike white of BYC is building a mount for my york 210 compressor and my ac compressor. and still fit under the hood. but i have a 2.5 so its a little bit different for the 4.0. hes going to make templates for everything soon as he can.

On my 00 ranger I had a belt driven compressor under the alternator and it was a 3.0. It will still fit there on my 89 ranger that has the 3.0 in it

Word of advice: I talked to airlift about the belt driven compressors (I bought mine from them). They told me if you plan on mounting the compressor on a angle it should no more than 45 degree angle with the filter (intake) on the higher side. Which pretty much means you should keep it to the passanger side of the motor. If you plan on mounting on the passanger side I was told not to excide around 10-15 degrees as the oil would start to leak out of the intake.

And if your running a belt driven it is very important that you have a water seperator before your tanks because their is a chance that some oil will get into the lines and enter the tanks.

I would not suggest running your factory ac as your edc. A guy in my neighborhood went through three factory units before buying a sanden. He was running an oiler in and a seperator out. They would burn up within a month.
