best way to shave door lock?

soak it in vinegar will take the galavanized coating off also....

i would use a quater to trace out for a piece.... just remember thos doors warp easy as shit.

how long for the vingear? I built a glove box for the '66 out of galventized, first I tried the vinegar method, but it didn't seem to work, so I jsut ground the edges in about 2".

not sure but a grinder works real good. i like usin 36 grit resin wheels...

bah, bench grinder works for me, since i can't get work to pay for my 36 grit discs.
