I just picked up a project MM and figured that I would try and hook up with as many online resources as possible. I am not new to the scene, but I am new to MMs/D50s.

I picked up an 87 reg cab with an interesting engine swap. It is powered by a Ford 2.3 and C5 tranny. Supposedly (the seller was a pothead...so I'm not holding my breath) the engine is from a round track dirt car and the tranny is a mild build (B&M shift kit). It is in desperate need of some electrical attention (not even a key switch....and the underhood wiring is hideous. However, I am a MECP Certified installer and somewhat of a custom electronics guy, so hopefully I can get it road worthy soon.

Static dropped (monoleafed w/ blocks and I'm not even sure that it has coils up front ....it is hammered though ), a few things shaved, Z-71s with low profile rubber, and a few other small things made it a decent find for what I paid. I hope to be picking up some parts and getting some advice along the way with this build.

Well the truck hasn't quite made it to my house yet. I have it 'stored' at UncleLee's until we can get a radiator and a coil installed in it (time is the enemy) But I will post a pic to mightyd50.com gallery. These are the original pics that made me go and look at the truck, and then buy it.

I have since lined up a billet grille and Yota bumper to help the aesthetics part of it, now I have to start fixing the haggard wiring and underhood mess.
