Newb from NC

I'm James, I just picked up a 92 mighty max and I'm wanting to fix it up a little and make a dependable daily driver out of it. Hopefully I can find some good info on this forum.

I don't have any pics of it yet. It's nothing to really get excited about seeing though. It's got dents, and more dents, the tailgate won't open, and the paint is peeling. It was used to haul scrap metal.

So far I've got new plugs in it, and some plug wires, cap and rotor, and some other parts on order.

It has a skip at part throttle I need to figure out. It evens out when you give it more gas but at light throttle it bucks and skips. I'm going to unplug the oxygen sensor and see if it runs any better. Anybody have any idea where to start looking to fix this problem? Also does anybody have a picture of a 2.4L with the sensors identified?

Well I got a few minor updates. I got a couple of the dents most of the way out and I got the tailgate opening and shutting smoothly. This truck is a blast to drive, even with the skip lol.

I'm going to try unplugging the oxygen sensor and see if that could be the reason it's skipping. The guy that had it before me cut the cat off and put a flowmaster single chamber on it, so it's obnoxiously loud. Would the cat being gone cause it to run bad, could that be my problem? Any ideas?
