Hey folks,

I acquired an '88 Mighty Max with Starion power. Bunches more power than my NA Raider.

Lots of Monteros at my house, now a pickup.

Thanks, guys. This is my first running Mitsu pickup, and my 16th Mitsu product. There are 6 Monteros and 1 Dodge Raider in my yard right now. My kids determined that they wanted two of the Montys I bought for parts cars, and my wife has a 4-door as well. I am currently pulling parts from two Monteros and have remainders of others laying around.

My plans for the MM include lower gears from the Monteros and some lift to clear 33" mudders. Aside from that, this is a commuter vehicle.

Badass ext cab and station engine, sweet. Is the station motor turbo'd?

Yes, the truck is equipped with a 12G turbo, makes about 10 psi boost, whistles during acceleration.

I'd be REAL interested in hearing how your Starion power plant is working out and any tips onwhere to find all the parts to make it happen. I was planning on doing something exactly like that to my 1988 PowerRam50 4x4.

My truck was converted by the previous owner using Conquest parts (same pieces). Due to interference behind the grill, I don't have the intercooler installed. The Starquest engine bolts in, but you'll have to relocate the oil dipstick port and reuse the truck oil pan. There will be some mods to the truck wiring to support the Starquest ECU and things. Shoot me a PM with another email address and I'll forward some pics to you.
