89 mighty max

my 89 mitsu mighty won't pass smog i think it takes about 5 minutes to warm up . New plugs, wires runs great when its warm doesn't want to idle and runs rough when cold when it warms it makes a baffle soune what are some of the things i can check myself that has to due with smogging?

It would help by telling us what exactly it is failing on the smog test, nox, co2, etc... what it is and what the passing numbers should be.

How is the distributor cap(any cracks,moisture inside) and rotor, big possibility the carb is going out as these electronic carbs have a tendency to fail.

all visual inspection of pcv dist sensors vacuum line etc all passed

The numbers are all jumbled together ,if it was in easier to read format it would help. Also if you know which part you failed nox,co2, etc just do a google search for what would make that gas high and what you need to do/replace to get it into specs. Also post your test info in a thread on mightyram50.net as there are plenty more active members on that site.
