is this a real weber?

I remember seeing some where that all real weber's have a W casted in this area is that true? Is this a fake weber?

well what model is that one? i have boght a fake weber and it ran like crap. i didnt know it was fake though. but i did just buy another one witch im hopeing is real. the fake one i got didnt have any weber stamps or castings just a little weber sticker. the new one i got has the w and weber cast into it and it also says made in spain. and the two look different.

well i did some googleing it looks like you got the 34 witch is the one i used to have. if it is the 34 your truck is gona run like crap atleast mine did it ran way too rich and its really hard to find jets for that carb so i just bought another one this time i got the 32 36. heres some info just google fake or real weber theres some good info i wish i would have know along time ago.

Actually I did some searching. It is the 34/34. Here is the deal, there is a genuine weber and a branded weber. Genuine weber is italian made the real deal, the branded is a french/china weber made by a company that has permission the stick the name on some carb and pass it off as a weber. I will take your advice. I am sending it back and trade it in for the 32/36
