I just picked up some wheels and need to bore the center, anybody have any good ways of doing it besides a machine shop, their steel by the way, and other than a router thanks

a do it yourself is never going to be perfect, a die grinder works with the right bit..but takes forever

Look on youtube. Search wheel bore.
Escalade wheel bore, etc. A guy has some good how to videos ...parts needed etc. Its really easy with the right router and bit. Honestly. Goodluck

your best bets gona be a machine shop. i just did some steelies for my truck on the mill at work. they came out perfect. i dont think a plasma cutter is gona be a good idea.

i read this on another site but have never tried it or know anyone whose tried it. but you can take a hole saw that fits the original hole in the wheel the stick that hole saw inside a larger one that way the smaller one rides on the inside of the bore keeping it somewhat straight while the larger one cuts.
