hey guys i have a ecu for sale from a 95 mighty max...

sound like a dumb question but does 88 carb 2.0 have an ecu?

Yes it does, it controls the pos smog controlled stock carb.

another q? where is the ecu located on these trucks?

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Remove the trim cover (3 screws) just in front of the passenger door at the floor level and you will see the wiring harness with three large electrical plugs that are snapped into the bottom of the ECU. Unplug those and you can pull the ECU down and out. It's tight but not very difficult.
