I'm Getting a 89 D50 4x4 to add to my collection!
What is the Limit on the Load you can haul with it?
I Might Be Getting a camper and it weighs 2800 dry and 3800 with the water loaded on it.
Would it be able to Pull it?

It'll task the truck. I pulled my Dodge Raider about 220 miles with my MM, and weighing about 4K pounds, I knew the MM was just past safe limits.

Remember, safety of others first, then exploring the limits of your particular vehicle.

"by the book", the camper you are talking about is 1600lbs OVER the recommended load of the vehicle before you even filled the water tanks...

That being said, its your truck. Even with the 2.6, you may find the performance a bit sluggish with that much camper on it's back. I just took my 88 2.6L 4x4 from Boise to Seattle with just over 1,000 lbs of Harley and misc tools in the back and I could really feel the load. The trip went fine, but you are talking about 3 times the weight. You might want to consider a lighter camper or a full size truck.

Thanks Guys!!
I'll Probably Be Looking For a Smaller Camper.
