Didn't notice until my truck was dead afterwork...my headlight warning buzzer stopped working. Does anyone know where its located and what usually causes it to stop working?

The door chime buzzer is located just above the kick panel on the driver's side where the hood release is located. I has one plug with two wires going to it. I would make sure that your button in the door jam isn't getting stuck. It could cause the dome light not to come on and it is what allows the buzzer to let you know that you left your lights on. Hope this helps.

Okay so here is my update....the overhead light works with the door ajar. Is there a fuse for the chime? Does anyone have a wiring diagram? I couldn't locate one on alldata. Think the buzzer needs to be replaced with a junkyard piece?

the buzzer is only for the door being open I believe, anyways you just need to replace the buzzer like said above its a gold little relay looking thing above the kick panel.

I was able to wire in a buzzer from radio shack at my fuse panel for the lights....I'll take some pictures soon and make a tech guide.
