Newbie with question D50 2.6L

New to site and about to purchase a D50 2.6L. I owned one of these great little Sport Trucks several years ago. Mine was a 1979 with the 2.6L motor. I remember that truck could pull like a tank. One of the best Trucks I ever owned.
I'm looking at a 1980 D50 2.6L with only 90,000 miles on it. No I won't tell you where I found it until after I get it.LOL
I have a question for anyone and everyone who wishes to chime in with their answer.
What kind of gas milage can I expect from this truck? Thats the only thing that could be a deal braker for me. I currently have a 2002 Nissan truck with a 2.4L engine and milage sucks at 22mpg on its best day. I don't recal I ever checked the milage on my 79 D50 back then as gas was only a buck a gal, but it seems to me that it got pretty good mileage, maybe up in the mid 20's or so.
Can anyone give me an answer?

With a 2wd stick, somewhere around 20 - 25 mpg is reasonable, with the auto a tad less.

i have an auto 1980 Arrow and I commute on the highway and get a solid 23 mpg. I have a few issues with mine so I could probably get better mileage once i work out the kinks. Its an auto
