Hey everyone I have a quick question, the title says it all.
I'm just wondering how many mounting bolts are on the stock carburetor?
Its a 1987 mikuni 2.6l
Im trying to replace the damn thing but I cant get it off the intake manifold, I removed the 4 obvious mounting bolts but I still couldnt get it off so I went to the repair Manuel and it said that (most) models have five mounting bolts so I looked and looked for the fifth one but I cant locate it. So if one of you kind souls know if there is a fifth one please let me know where it is.....or if I just need to pull harder.

Ive only ever saw 4. Maybe the fuel lines are holding you up or coolant line?

Unique, relevant content is few and far between on the internet but luckily I dont feel that way about this blog. I am usually the lurking non posting type but you provide great content and thats all i desire from my internet experience. This may sound over the top but it was a great post. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply
So if any of you are wondering, there only are four bolts.
There weren't any lines holding me up, I made sure everything was disconnected, that's the main reason why I was so dumbfounded when I couldn't remove the carb. The gasket basically bonded the carb to the intake manifold which was obviously restricting me from removing it, so I grabbed my big ass Flathead screwdriver and used it to pry the carb off the manifold.
