Hello, I have been doing the checks on this new truck of mine and found 150psi on #4 130psi on #3 <30 on #2 and less than a fart on #1.
I see new radiator hoses and bright green radiator fluid. My guess is that a hose broke and the motor ran hot and then the gasket let go. I do not find evidence of oil in the water or the other way round.
What is the consensus? Just put a new gasket in or take the head into the shop and have it given a full rework. The truck has 140k showing on the clock.
I am posting this in the other max forum too.
Are there any mods that I should do if I send the head in to the shop. I am looking for better milage and more power is possible.
